The Classic Beaufort has the same features as the original wax cotton Beaufort, including moleskin-lined hand-warmer pockets, bellows pockets with drain holes, rear game pocket, adjustable storm cuffs, and a "secret" wallet pocket. The jacket accepts an optional zip in liner and snap on hood.

The term ″Classic″ implies that the jacket is made of mediumweight Barbour Sylkoil. This fabric functions the same as the original wax cotton but has a more rustic, ″worn″ look.
