All hats are fully lined with warm 100% virgin wool -a great combination for hunting in chilly conditions. Highly versatile, you can wear it three ways: as a regular hat (folded up), with the cape partially pulled down to cover the ears, or fully pulled down for the worst conditions. When fully pulled down, the hat forms a cape that protects the neck and face, and is fully lined for warmth with thick wool Mackinaw Cloth.
The Filson Big Game/Upland Hat in Blaze Orange ensures greater safety while hunting. The Mackinaw wool lining provides superior warmth and natural water repellency, with earflaps that can be worn folded out of the way, pulled down just over your ears, or pulled down and buckled under your chin. The Big Game/Upland Hat also features a low profile crown, a cotton sweatband and four grommets for extra ventilation.
